On 9 April 2026, a joint meeting was held at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine between members of the parliamentary group “Free Ichkeria” and the Temporary Special Commission on the Oppressed Peoples of the Russian Federation, together with representatives of the Chechen national liberation movement “United Force” and the initiative alliance “Free Nations Group”.

The participants reviewed the results of three years of Ukrainian–Chechen cooperation and outlined priorities for its further development. Particular attention was given to the expansion of this cooperation through the involvement of the “Free Nations Group” in joint activities within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and in the parliaments of several European countries.
Further details of this important meeting will be presented in forthcoming publications.
During the past week, as part of the working visit of the President of “United Force” to Kyiv, a number of other productive and significant meetings also took place.
